BUSINESS CLIMATE COALITION

Mission: The Business Climate Coalition (BCC) aims to advance cost effective solutions for businesses in addressing energy usage and climate change.

Overview: The BCC advises and advocates recommendations for the region’s business sector from the Pittsburgh Climate Action Plan.

The BCC has a steering committee of 30 business leaders who meet every six weeks to set business sector goals, to plan events, to organize focus group sessions, to collect case study information, to provide access to climate-related resources (such as legislation, measuring tools, and grant information), and to collect information on what the business community needs in order to effectively address their climate concerns.
